What makes a curse word unacceptable?
(via yourcrapsweak)
They’re just words that are not needed in conversation, but people take them and have fun with it behind adults backs bacause it’s funny to them, atleast this applys to people under 18 or 16
But for older ages they’re just words that are not needed and rude to use.
What makes it unexceptable is how rude it is.
Teacher:You didn’t to good on that test.
You:Fuck!
That sounds rude to me =.Well, that’s just me.
Morals, who needs em?(sarcasm)
That basically restates my question. Why are they rude? What makes society take them as negtive? How did this happen in the first place?
I think using a word such as fuck is a good thing a lot. It adds emphasis, and tells people you mean what the fuck you say.
i don’t think of “curse words” as anything bad really. i use them for emphasis.
the only thing is i wouldn’t let my son say them, i mean…that may not go over well at school, because the world has made those words unacceptable.but that’s just me. to each their own.
they’re just words. if you feel like you’re “going behind an adult’s back” or “doing something wrong,” you’re a child. in the adult world, they’re only unacceptable in places like church and professional environments (and even in the office, depending on who you work with, it may be encouraged), and I suppose around your grandmother. She can’t hear anyway, but it’s polite to hold back.
I think you should use tact, but there are some things better left unsaid. Like ‘fuck’, being a cruel word that practically mocks sex. And G*dd*a*m(loluno), is completely offensive.
But people like to be rediculous, so somewhere along the line, terms like ‘ass’ and ‘shit’ somehow became profanity.
